The AHA today said that a recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine 鈥渇ails to draw meaningful, valid conclusions鈥 about the 340B Drug Pricing Program 鈥渄ue to constraints and flaws鈥 in the methodology.

The AHA, joined by the Association of American Medical Colleges and America's Essential Hospitals, today urged a federal appeals court to expedite their appeal of a lower court鈥檚 December dismissal of the groups鈥 lawsuit that sought to prevent Medicare payment cuts for many hospitals in the 340B鈥
Plaintiffs-Appellants, three hospital associations and three hospital systems, move to expedite this appeal from an order dismissing Appellants' complaint and denying a preliminary injunction that would have suspended implementation on January 1, 2018, of a new HHS rule drastically reducing payment鈥
