In an effort to further advance health in America, the 黑料正能量 Association today officially launched the AHA Center for Health Innovation to support hospitals and health systems as they respond to and proactively lead change.  
The Center for Health Innovation will harness the work of Health Forum, the Health Research & Educational Trust, AHA鈥檚 Data Center and The Value Initiative to provide tools and resources that can help members innovate as they continue to redefine the 鈥淗.鈥
In 2014, a group of stakeholders in Kansas City 鈥 including representatives from law enforcement, hospitals, courts, city government, mental health, and homeless shelters 鈥 started convening monthly to determine how to provide appropriate help to individuals with behavioral health issues who don鈥檛鈥
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services yesterday announced a new payment and service delivery model as part of a multi-pronged strategy to combat the nation鈥檚 opioid crisis.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services today awarded $8.6 million to 30 states and the District of Columbia to provide state insurance regulators with the opportunity to enhance states鈥 ability to strengthen their health insurance markets through innovative measures.
It鈥檚 no secret that health care is changing 鈥 rapidly. And how hospitals and health systems respond to the challenges of today will determine how well they can seize the opportunities of tomorrow. Helping the field navigate this transformation is a key AHA priority.

This fall, more than 500 health care professionals with a stake in the environment of care will gather to address these changes in Columbus, Ohio from Sept. 23-26 for the annual EXCHANGE Conference & Solution Center 鈥 a program of AHA鈥檚 Association for the Health Care Environment.

The Health Resources and Services Administration鈥檚 Maternal and Child Health Bureau is accepting submissions through Sept. 24 for its Preventing Childhood Obesity Challenge.
