HRSA Announces Maternal and Child Health Innovation Challenges
The Health Resources and Services Administration鈥檚 Maternal and Child Health Bureau is accepting submissions through Sept. 24 for its , which will award $375,000 in prizes to support low-cost and scalable innovative solutions to prevent childhood obesity in low-income families and communities. The agency plans to launch similar challenges in August and September for technical innovations to help coordinate care for children with special health care needs; help prenatal care providers remotely monitor the health and wellbeing of pregnant women; and improve access to quality health care and support services for pregnant women and new mothers with opioid use disorders.
