Michael Gustafson, M.D., Selected President of UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, MA. UMass Memorial  that Gustafson will take over as president effective Sept. 1. He comes from Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital where he served as president for the past three years and chief operating officer from 2011 to 2015.

Bob Sutton Named New President and CEO of Avera Health, Sioux Falls, SD. Avera Health  Sutton will be president and CEO effective June 18. He will succeed John Porter, who is retiring after serving 44 years in a leadership position at Avera. Most recently, Sutton was Avera’s executive vice president of human resources.

David Orcutt Appointed CEO of Lake Granbury Medical Center in Texas. Orcutt is  to Lake Granbury Medical Center, where he served as the CEO from 2006-2013, effective June 25. He previously served as CEO at Medical City Weatherford in Texas.

Michael Makosky Named CEO of Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Makosky was  by the Fulton County Medical Center Board of Directors and will begin his new role before July 1. He most recently served as interim CEO of Williamson Memorial Hospital in West Virginia.

Andrew Rush Named CEO of Somerset Hospital in Pennsylvania. The Somerset Hospital Board of Directors  Rush as its CEO. Rush recently served the Somerset Hospital health care community as senior vice president and COO of Somerset Hospital and CEO of Somerset Health Services, Inc.

Julia Truman Appointed COO of Orange Park Medical Center in Florida. Truman was  chief operating officer last month. She most recently served president and COO of Tacoma General Hospital, Allenmore Hospital and Gig Harbor Medical Park in Washington.
