HCA names two new leaders.

Brian Cook will serve as president of HCA’s Las Vegas-based Far West Division, effective May 1. Cook has been with HCA for 15 years and is currently CEO of North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. In addition, Ravi Chari, M.D., will become president of HCA’s West Florida Division, effective May 1. Chari is currently senior vice president of clinical excellence and a 10-year veteran of HCA.

Bill Calhoun named CEO of Kearney Regional Medical Center.

Calhoun will begin his role as CEO of Kearney (NE) Regional Medical Center on April 18. Calhoun was president of hospital operations for Health First, an independent health care system in central Florida.  

Trinity Health selects Tammy Lundstrom, M.D., as CMO.

Lundstrom has been named senior vice president and chief medical officer for Livonia, MI-based Trinity Health effective April 30. Lundstrom will be responsible for leading local physician engagement and alignment efforts across Trinity Health's 22 states and more than 33,000 employed and affiliated physicians. Lundstrom joins Trinity Health from Premier Health in Dayton, OH.

Randy Neiswonger named CEO for UP Health System – Portage.

Neiswonger has been appointed to serve as CEO of UP Health System – Portage effective May 29. Neiswonger comes to Portage from Select Medical in Mechanicsburg, PA, where he served since January 2014 as one of their hospital’s CEOs and later as a corporate regional director.

Shawn Barnett named SVP and CFO at CHI St. Vincent.

Barnett was named senior vice president and chief financial officer for Little Rock, AR-based CHI St. Vincent. He most recently was president and chief operating officer of CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial in Lufkin, Texas.

Diane Kelly named Greenwich Hospital’s Chief Operating Officer.

Kelly has been selected as COO and executive vice president for Greenwich (CT) Hospital, as well as senior vice president for Yale New Haven Health, effective April 30. Kelly has been COO of Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA, since 2008, where she also served as vice president of quality and safety.
