The International Summit & Technical Exhibition on Health Facility Planning, Design & Construction 鈥 better known as the 鈥 is a collaborative event that brings together hospital leaders, architects, construction professionals, designers and facility directors. This year鈥檚 PDC Summit 鈥 a program of AHA鈥檚 American Society for Healthcare Engineering with support from the American Institute of Architects Academy of Architecture for Health and the American College of Healthcare Architects 鈥 will be held March 25-28 in Nashville. Keynote speaker Steven Johnson, author and host of the PBS series 鈥淗ow We Got To Now,鈥 will be discussing how to make creative decisions in an uncertain world. His session will explore insights from visionary decisions throughout history, discuss the importance of diversity and multi-disciplinary thinking in decision-making and provide strategies to find inventive solutions to challenges faced by complex organizations like health systems.

With more than 12,000 members, ASHE is the largest association devoted to professionals who design, build, maintain, and operate hospitals and other health care facilities.
