AHA participates in Modern Healthcare’s Leadership Symposium
The AHA Sept. 12 participated in in Washington, where AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack spoke with Modern Healthcare Reporter Michael McAuliff during a fireside chat. The conversation covered the 2024 national election, the continuing resolution that would fund the federal government beyond the Sept. 30 deadline and other legislation impacting health care in the near future.
John Riggi, AHA national adviser for cybersecurity and risk, also participated in a panel session about how organizations are identifying cybersecurity vulnerabilities and implementing practices to prevent cyberattacks in light of February's incident with Change Healthcare.
