AHA, FAH request CMS to extend comment period for TEAM proposed ruleÂ

AHA and the Federation of ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿s today sent a joint letter to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requesting an extension of the June 10 comment deadline for the agency's proposed rule on the Transforming Episode Accountability Model (TEAM), a proposed mandatory bundled payment model. The letter cites a lack of tools from CMS that would be necessary for hospitals to succeed under the program and requests an extension of the comment period to at least July 10.
