The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality recently released a to help health systems and other stakeholders assess and advance equity in health care solutions that involve digital technologies. 鈥淐onsiderations ranging from a lack of patient digital literacy to a lack of broadband access, collectively referred to as the 鈥榙igital divide,鈥 may impact the viability of healthcare solutions that involve digital technologies and tools,鈥 the guide notes. 鈥淎ddressing the 鈥榙igital divide鈥 and its impact on the health of individuals and communities requires an approach that intentionally considers equity throughout the lifecycle of digital healthcare solutions.鈥
