More than 15 million people have selected a 2024 health plan through the federally facilitated or state-based marketplaces, a 33% increase compared to last year, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Dec. 20. The agency projects a total of 19 million will enroll for 2024 coverage. On Dec. 15, a record 745,000 people selected the federally facilitated plan, CMS said.
