Sean Fadale, president and CEO of Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home in Gloversville, N.Y., will serve as 2024 chair of the AHA Rural Health Services Committee. Julie Yaroch, D.O., president of ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital in Adrian, Mich., is chair-elect. Bill Gassen, president and CEO of Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, S.D., will serve as the committee鈥檚 liaison to the AHA Board of Trustees.

New committee members for 2024 include: Doug Archer, president and CEO of Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas, Calif.; Kara Besst, president and CEO of Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, Idaho; Brent Burkey, M.D., president and CEO of Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, Ohio; James Hobson, CEO of Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Miss.; Jay Johnson, president and CEO of Duncan (Okla.) Regional Hospital; Darrell LaRoche, deputy director of management operations for the Indian Health Service in Rockville, Md.; James Pettinato, R.N., CEO of Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, Pa.; and Lynda Stanley, president and CEO of Dosher Memorial Hospital in Southport, N.C.

The Rural Health Services Committee represents the AHA's small, rural and critical access hospital members by participating in the AHA's advocacy, policy and resource development, with a particular focus on strategic opportunities.
