The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance yesterday presented its Transformational Leader Award to Nancy Foster, AHA鈥檚 vice president for quality and patient safety policy.  
 
鈥淣ancy has served on the board of directors for The Alliance since 2019, and has made an indelible impact on the organization,鈥  Karri Hopson-Pape, executive director for the Alliance. 鈥淲ith her broad vantage point of national hospital leadership, she has been a dedicated advocate of donation and transplantation 鈥 and a champion of driving efficiency and effectiveness in the national system. 鈥 With a broad understanding of major trends in healthcare, especially the current state of hospitals and the mindsets of healthcare leadership, she brings the big-picture perspective to our often narrow and niche profession 鈥 embodying The Alliance鈥檚 commitment to cross-community collaboration.鈥
