HHS expands Medicaid home and community-based program funding in five new states

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Monday awarded $25 million in planning grants to expand access to home and community-based services through Medicaid鈥檚  program. With these grants, 41 states and territories participate in the program benefiting older adults and people with disabilities transitioning from institutional care to their homes and communities.
