The鈥疌enters for Medicare & Medicaid Services yesterday released  summarizing the current status of Medicare COVID-19 blanket waivers and flexibilities by provider type, as well as flexibilities applicable to the Medicaid community. The fact sheets include information about which waivers and flexibilities have already been terminated, have been made permanent or will end at the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency.  
鈥淭hroughout the PHE, CMS has also maintained鈥痑 list of COVID-19 ,鈥痓ut unless otherwise specified in these fact sheets, these waivers will end with the PHE,鈥 CMS officials said in a  today. 鈥淲ith this information in hand, we expect that the health care system can begin taking prudent action to prepare to return to normal operations and to wind down those flexibilities that are no longer critical in鈥痭ature.鈥
