The Department of Health and Human Services today released the , a tool to help policymakers and communities identify health risks from pollution and other environmental hazards.

鈥淭oo many communities across our nation, particularly low-income communities and communities of color, continue to bear the brunt of pollution,鈥  HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra. 鈥淢eeting the needs of these communities requires our focused attention and we will use the Environmental Justice Index to do just that.鈥
