AHA supports bipartisan resolution condemning violence鈥痑gainst health care workers

AHA yesterday voiced support for , which condemns violence against health care workers and expresses support for health care personnel.
鈥淭he escalation of violence in health care settings is of great concern to our member hospitals and health systems,鈥 AHA wrote to the resolution鈥檚 sponsor, Rep. Troy Carter, D-La. 鈥淎ttacks on health care staff, whether by patients or visitors, result in serious harm and jeopardize our workforce鈥檚 ability to provide care.鈥
