The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Friday awarded  to expand treatment, early intervention and recovery support for adolescents and young adults with substance use and/or mental health disorders and their families, as well as family-based services for pregnant and postpartum women.

鈥淭hese two grant programs fund treatment services for people grappling with substance use and provide needed wraparound supports in areas that, if left unaddressed, can impede attempts at recovery,鈥 Miriam Delphin-Rittmon, assistant secretary for mental health and substance use at the Department of Health and Human Services.
