The AHA, American Medical Association, American Health Care Association, National Association for Home Care & Hospice, National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, and Association for Clinical Oncology today urged Senate leaders to extend the moratorium on the Medicare sequester cuts beyond March 31.

鈥淲ithout future relief to providers, America鈥檚 health care system could be at risk of collapse,鈥 the organizations wrote. 鈥淎s such, we respectfully ask that the Senate include an extension of the moratorium on the Medicare sequester cuts in COVID-19 legislation so that we can continue to care for patients, families and communities.鈥
