The AHA last week co-hosted a regional cyber workshop with Nebraska Hospital Association for technical and non-technical hospital and health system leaders to learn about cybersecurity as a strategic enterprise risk issue with implications to care delivery and patient safety. Cyber leaders from Nebraska and the FBI joined John Riggi, AHA senior advisor for cybersecurity & risk, to discuss the global cyber threat landscape affecting health care in the region. AHA members can contact Riggi at jriggi@aha.org for more information or questions on cybersecurity issues.
