Free ASHE tool helps hospitals monitor energy use

The AHA鈥檚 American Society for Health Care Engineering this week released a new tool to help health care facilities monitor energy use. 鈥淲ith utility bills making up almost half of a facility manager鈥檚 operating budget, the impact of these energy costs on an individual hospital is huge,鈥 ASHE Interim Executive Director Dale Woodin. 鈥淭he new Energy to Care Dashboard is a tremendous improvement over our previous tool that will help our members easily comb through data to find energy savings for their facilities.鈥 For more information, visit .
