Atrium Health鈥檚 Carolinas Rehabilitation, Charlotte, N.C., will receive the 2019 AHA Quest for Quality Prize Thursday at the AHA Leadership Summit in San Diego for its exemplary achievements in engaging with community partners to address social determinants of health, empowering its workforce to excel and innovate, and improving access for patients. Mission Health, Asheville, N.C., an operating division of HCA Healthcare, will be honored as a finalist, and Richmond University Medical Center, Staten Island, N.Y., will receive the Citation of Merit. 鈥淭his year鈥檚 winner and honorees have demonstrated an organizational-wide commitment to advancing the quality of care they provide each day to their patients and communities,鈥 said Rick Pollack, AHA鈥檚 president and CEO. 鈥淭heir leadership in improving care is a model for hospitals and health systems across the country.鈥 For more information, see the AHA news release.
