Community-based organizations and others can apply through July 15 for funding to address maternal health disparities and improve outcomes, the Health Resources and Services Administration yesterday. The agency expects to award about $2 million each for five years to nine state-focused projects to strengthen partnerships, improve data and promote innovation in maternal health service delivery, and $2.5 million per year for five years to an entity that will help the recipients implement evidence-informed strategies.
