In partnership with the AHA and other national health care leaders, the National Quality Forum today launched a task force to identify opportunities to drive and optimize high-value, person-centered care for every patient by 2030. The panel expects to issue recommendations by year-end based on input from top experts and pioneering health care leaders. 鈥淗ealth care quality efforts to this point have successfully embedded the expectation of safe, high quality care,鈥� NQF President and CEO Shantanu Agrawal, task force co-chair. 鈥淣ow is the time to ensure the next generation of quality achieves significant improvements in value, driven by consumer and community goals.鈥� In addition to AHA, partners in the initiative include Kaiser Permanente, Geisinger, Intermountain Healthcare and HCA Healthcare.
