White House Unveils Ad Campaign to Educate Youth About Opioid Risks

The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, Truth Initiative and Ad Council yesterday a public education campaign focused on preventing and reducing misuse of opioids among youth and young adults. The Truth About Opioids campaign features first-person, true stories of young Americans with opioid use disorder. Media channels supporting the campaign through donations include Amazon, Facebook, Google, YouTube, NBCUniversal, Turner and Vice. 鈥淭his will be the first of many public engagement initiatives from the Trump Administration focused on preventing opioid misuse and addiction,鈥 said Kellyanne Conway, counselor to the president.
