Company recalls compounded drug products
PharMEDium Services LLC has recalled 55 lots of compounded drug products due to a lack of sterility assurance, the Food and Drug Administration last week. The products were distributed to U.S. hospitals and clinics. Customers with recalled products should immediately quarantine and destroy them, and may report associated adverse reactions or quality problems to the FDA's program.
