SAMHSA announces substance use disorder screening grants
Health care and behavioral health care systems can apply through Feb. 21 for grants to screen adolescents and adults in primary care and community health settings for substance misuse and use disorders, implement brief interventions and refer for treatment services, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration last week. The agency expects to award up to eight grants of up to $995,000 per year for up to five years.
