CMS announces $10 million to help practices move to alternative payment models
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services today announced up to $10 million in for organizations to help clinicians improve patient outcomes and lower costs for Medicare, Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program enrollees through the . Recipients of the second round of Support and Alignment Network grants will provide technical assistance to help clinicians and practices participate in alternative payment models. Eligible applicants include health care delivery systems and plans that provide quality improvement support to a large number of clinicians. CMS expects to award up to five grants of $500,000 to $2.5 million through cooperative agreements. Letters of intent to apply are due July 1 and applications July 11.
