ACGME webinar April 25 on initiative to transform clinical training
The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education is accepting to participate in an launched with AHA and others to transform clinical training for residents and physicians who pursue formal specialty and subspecialty training at ACGME-accredited institutions. Hospital and health system CEOs and board members who participate in the leadership track will collaborate with each other and their clinical teams to develop and test new strategic practices to optimize the role of GME in a system-based approach to improving patient care. The program also offers an opportunity for CEOs to share their experiences and hear from colleagues about successful practices. Hospital leaders are invited to participate in an April 25 informational on the four-year initiative, which will provide up to $75,000 a year to up to eight sponsoring institutions.
