The HAVE Award honors volunteers who make a difference in your hospitals and in your communities
The AHA’s Hospital Awards for Volunteer Excellence (HAVE) program has recognized outstanding volunteer programs across the nation for more than 30 years. The search is now on for nominees for the 2016 HAVE Award.
The AHA seeks nominations through Oct. 9 for the awards. Hospital CEOs and directors of volunteer services are encouraged to nominate outstanding volunteer programs in the areas of community service, in-service hospital volunteer, fundraising, and community outreach/collaboration.
The awards will be presented next May at the AHA’s Annual Membership Meeting in Washington, DC. This highlights the breadth and scope of health care volunteer efforts and their impact on improving health in communities all across the country.
