The AHA Center for Health Innovation, in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics (CHIBE), is hosting a two-part introductory webinar series on bundled payments in October and November called “Bundled Payments: Learning in Action Series.”
On Thursday, November 15 CHIBE’s Dr. Amol Navathe will cover evidence to date on factors driving the impact of bundled payment programs on cost and quality of care. Importantly, we will dive deeply into areas of cost savings and quality improvements that tie national evaluation results with strategies used by successful participants. After this session, attendees will know what bundled payments are effective at impacting and limitations of bundled payment and how these effects tie to strategies used by successful hospitals.
Hospitals and health systems with bundled payment experience are invited to participate in a complementary project's short survey. For details, email surveysupport@aha.org with the subject line: AHA-LDI survey. Aggregate data from the survey will be shared with participants.
