If a state delegate is nearing the end of their term on an RPB, the state hospital association can certify an individual for a new delegate term starting on Jan. 1 of the upcoming year.</p><p>To serve as a state delegate, the individual must meet the eligibility requirements: the individual must represent an AHA member hospital or system; the individual cannot represent the same hospital as another current RPB member, though they can represent another hospital in the same system; and the individual cannot serve consecutive terms on the RPB.
