Workforce shortages and financial challenges are jeopardizing access to hospital care and services, writes AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack in an advertorial today in the New York Times. 
 
鈥淲hile hospitals and health systems are doing all that they can to advance health and wellness, they cannot solve these immense challenges alone,鈥 Pollack notes. 鈥淲e need a combined effort, including those in government, insurance companies, technology firms, consumers and others, so we can meet today鈥檚 challenges and put us on a sustainable path for the future.鈥
