FDA issues updated EUA, FAQ on non-surgical face mask use
The Food and Drug Administration has its April 18 emergency use authorization on face masks for the general public to clarify that non-surgical face masks are not intended for use by health care personnel as personal protective equipment, meaning they are not a substitute for respirator or surgical masks.
