The House Energy and Commerce Committee yesterday released a on the 340B Drug Pricing Program. “The 340B program is an important program that enjoys strong bipartisan support in Congress,” the report says. “The program helps reduce the prices of covered drugs for certain participating entities who, in turn, provide care for patients.” The report, which comes after two years of the committee examining the operation and oversight of the 340B program, includes a number of findings about the program, as well as 12 recommendations.
